Also known as Garden Raspberry, European Raspberry, Framboise, and Red Raspberry. American Raspberry (Rubus strigosus or Rubus idaeus var. strigosus) is believed by some taxonomists to be the same species. Reputedly used as an aid for pregnancy and delivery, and for its astringent properties on the skin. More scientific evidence is needed to rate the effectiveness of raspberry leaf for these uses.
