Description
Also known as Chrysanthemum Weed, Sailor's Tobacco, St John's Plant, and, adding in some confusion, Common Wormwood or Wild Wormwood. Traditionally mugwort has been used as a tea for a wide variety of purposes, from purportedly stimulating digestion to supposedly increasing blood circulation. Mugwort naturally contains the toxin thujone, which is toxic in large amounts or under prolonged intake and should never be used during pregnancy.
