Description

Also called Black Elder, European Elder, and Common Elder. These dried elder flowers have been rubbed on mesh screens to crumble them slightly. Elder flowers have found widespread for making infusions, cordials, and wines. They are also traditionally used medicinally to combat colds and the flu. More scientific evidence is needed to rate the effectiveness of elder flowers for these uses.
